Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Collections Specialist to
provide patient-facing and back-end support in revenue cycle
departments.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve outstanding billing issues and analyze claim edits and
denials
Interact with insurance carriers to obtain approvals for procedures
and medications
Act as a liaison between insurers, medical offices, and patients
while ensuring compliance with HIPAA laws
Required Qualifications
High School Degree or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience in patient billing and collections
Knowledge of medical coding and insurance processes
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
