.Summary:The Senior Director of Risk Diligence and Oversight will
play a critical leadership role in managing and overseeing third
party risk for Bristol Myers Squibb. This position focuses on
healthcare compliance diligence and the oversight of all
third-party relationships across all risk domains. The ideal
candidate will possess extensive experience in risk management,
healthcare compliance, and third-party oversight, with a strategic
mindset and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior
stakeholders across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Healthcare Compliance Risk Diligence and Oversight:
- Lead and manage comprehensive healthcare compliance third party
diligence processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
and internal standards.
- Collaborate with market compliance professionals and other
internal stakeholders to identify and assess compliance risks
associated with third-party engagements.
- Provide strategic advisory support on third-party healthcare
compliance matters to senior leadership and business units.
- Develop and maintain risk assessment models, inputs, and
requirements.
- Partner with risk owners and business stakeholders to conduct
risk assessments and provide training on risk management best
practices.
- Facilitate risk assessment calibration and stratification
processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Report risk assessment findings and insights to senior
leadership and designated stakeholders, providing clear and
actionable recommendations.Third-Party Oversight:
- Deliver comprehensive insights on risks for all third-party
relationships across all risk domains, including financial,
operational, compliance, reputational, and strategic risks.
- Inform and maintain third-party risk management policies,
procedures, and tools.
- Monitor and review the performance and risk exposure of
existing third-party relationships, ensuring ongoing compliance and
risk mitigation.Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the third party
risk diligence and oversight function, aligning with the company's
overall risk management strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk
management practices into business processes and
decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in risk diligence and oversight
practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging
trends.
- Represent the company in external forums and industry groups
related to risk management and compliance.Qualifications &
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration,
Finance, Law, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, JD, etc.)
preferred.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in risk management,
healthcare compliance, or a related field, with significant
experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the
biopharmaceutical industry.
- Deep understanding of healthcare compliance regulations,
third-party risk management, and risk assessment
methodologies.
- Proven experience in and implementing third party risk
diligence and oversight frameworks and tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic
insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to effectively influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in conducting training and providing strategic
advisory support to senior risk owners and business
stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and
initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in advanced risk management software and
tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high
standards of quality and accuracy.
