Job Description:
Diagnostica Stago, Inc., (DSI) is an industry leader in the

products, technical support, and services. The Education & Training
Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and
continuously improving training programs for both internal
employees and external customers. This role ensures training
programs align with company goals, industry best practices, and
regulatory requirements while enhancing employee skills, knowledge,
and overall customer success. The manager oversees both in-person
and virtual training, maintains compliance with FDA, ISO, and other
regulatory agencies, monitors customer satisfaction, and ensures a
consistently positive Stago training experience. Additionally, this
role manages a team of training specialists, oversees budget
control, and uses data analysis to drive training improvements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Training Needs Analysis
--- Identify and assess training needs across the organization to
ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic
priorities.
--- Collaborate with key stakeholders (HQ, Sales, Services,
Marketing, HR, etc.) to understand specific training
requirements.
Curriculum Development & Content Management
--- Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective training
programs for both employees and customers using various learning
methods (e.g., in-person workshops, virtual courses, e-learning,
hands-on simulations).
--- Ensure that training materials and programs are updated
regularly to reflect new product launches, technical updates, and
evolving industry trends.
--- Incorporate feedback from trainees and business leaders to
continuously improve training content.
Training Delivery & Customer Experience
--- Oversee and facilitate both virtual and in-person training
programs, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
--- Ensure all training programs prioritize customer satisfaction,
providing learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to
succeed.
--- Monitor customer satisfaction feedback and take action to
enhance the training experience.
--- Ensure that all internal and external trainees have a positive
Stago experience-whether online or in person.
Compliance & Record Management
--- Maintain accurate training records for compliance with FDA,
ISO, and other regulatory requirements.
--- Ensure all employees participating in product training have
proper documentation to meet regulatory standards.
Budget Management
--- Monitor and control training program budgets, ensuring
efficient resource allocation while maintaining high-quality
training experiences.
--- Identify opportunities to streamline activities and reduce
costs without compromising training effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
--- Manage and mentor a team of training specialists, providing
guidance to ensure their success.
--- Work with internal departments, including Sales, Service, HR,
and Marketing, to align training programs with company goals.
--- Act as a liaison with Stago's HQ to integrate new training
content and methodologies.
--- Support cross-functional initiatives that improve knowledge
transfer across the organization.
Performance Management & Data Analysis
--- Track and analyze training data, identifying areas for
improvement and measuring the impact of training programs.
--- Use data-driven insights to enhance training effectiveness and
adjust programs as needed.
--- Follow up with managers post-training to assess employee skill
development and adjust content accordingly.
Serve as backup for all department needs with an ability to cover
for applications, engineering, and scheduling if staffing
challenges arise.
Education & Requirements
B.S. degree in Medical Technology, Engineering, Biology or related
field required; 5 to 7 years related experience with 1-3 years
management experience or minimum of 5 years Stago experience.
Proven experience in training and development, with a strong
understanding of adult learning principles and instructional
design. Hemostasis knowledge preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PPT).
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning
platforms, and other training technologies.
Valid Passport.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the in vitro diagnostics (IVD)
industry and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO) is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a
team.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation
skills.
Creativity & Innovation: Ability to think outside the box and
develop engaging, innovative training programs that enhance the
learner experience
Problem solving: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with
a variety of variables.
Effective presentation skills: Ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, if needed. Up
to 10% travel may be required. Position is located in
Parsippany.
