Position: Executive Communications Sr. Program Manager

Office: Remote - East Coast or Central Time Zones preferred. Candidates in Pacific Time Zone will not be considered.
Pay: $80 - $90/hr.
Type: W-2 (benefits included)


About the Role:
This role will own the delivery of employee-facing executive communications for the Global Sales and Go-to-Market Acceleration organizations.
In close collaboration with the Director of Communications, this role will help lead the client relationship with senior leaders and ensure best-in-class delivery for employee-facing internal communication campaigns and projects. They will be responsible for implementing the company's internal communications strategy for the client area to ensure all internal employees have the same employee experience, product knowledge and awareness, leveraging one consistent message with client-specific relevancy.
This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of work, including the coordination of shared and expert resources (content writers, designers, production elements); ensure the timely delivery of materials; and client-specific strategy, solutions and branding needs.
The Senior Program Manager, Executive Communication, is embedded within the business areas they support as part of their strategic counsel to manage the day-to-day delivery of communications, including large-scale projects and ad hoc messages.
Responsibilities

  • Ensure cross-functional knowledge and information sharing, creating once and customizing by individual client needs to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships within the internal team (corporate functions, GMs, all of employee communications, communicators outside of the team)
  • Partner with leaders (internal team and internal clients) to define client-specific objectives and desired outcomes to align the company's strategy into client-specific communication plans to ensure consistent communication across functional areas.
  • Serve as a knowledge expert, partner and the primary contact for internal communications and projects across their client areas.
  • Maintain project plans, set scope, create timetables, monitor progress and ensure best practices are followed during implementation.
  • Counsel clients on appropriate communication channels and target audiences for maximum impact of each message.
  • Ensure ongoing cross-functional information sharing across the organization through various channels.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of client areas and creative briefs, to internal partners to coordinate the writing, editing, design and delivery of all communications.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with assigned client areas.
  • Listen carefully to each client's challenges to assess communication opportunities and alignment to our larger strategy.
  • Brainstorm ideas, suggestions and recommendations with the team.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team/shared resources to be sure all aspects of the project align with client expectations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of key client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors.
  • Review all communication materials from the internal team (content, design, production) for accuracy and alignment prior to sharing with the client and gain appropriate feedback and approval to incorporate into the final product.
  • Ensure all communication projects, messages and requests are within the overall strategy and aligned with company-wide messaging.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all client-specific needs and requirements.

    Role Requirements:

  • 8-10 years leading internal communication relationships in a matrix organization - must be within Tech and have experience with communication support for Sales executive leadership
  • Strong client management experience and relationship-building/interpersonal skills.
  • Superlative project management skills; oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple communication projects that are multidimensional and encompass multiple disciplines across several clients.
  • Provides strong strategic communication counsel, project management, change management, facilitative, analytical and consulting skills.
