Director Behavioral Health Services
Full-time, 40 hours, Exempt: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Summary:
This position will report to the Vice President, Behavioral Health
Service line with a matrix reporting structure into the
Chairman/SVP Psychiatry. This individual will provide the
leadership needed to effectively manage and help grow the
Behavioral Health Services line at Nuvance Health by ensuring
clinical excellence, operating efficiency, and financial strength.
This will include direct oversight of all outpatient behavioral
health clinics (IOP, Partial Hospital, Crisis Intervention and
other therapy services) as well as working collaboratively with
Inpatient Psychiatry and Emergency Department leadership on central
intake and transfer logistics. This role will also be the liaison
with all federal, state and local mental health departments and
will stay abreast of changes occurring at those levels by attending
regular meetings and building relationships with and establishing
contacts within these external agencies.
