**Job Summary**JF Restaurants at The Times Square EDITION is seeking an experienced Dining Room Director to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a Michelin-Starred and Award-winning Chef John Fraser and his team in a fast-paced fine dining environment.The Dining Room Director will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of service standards in the dining room, ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. This includes planning seating orders, managing reservations, and communicating with the kitchen and host team.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in fine dining, be able to work well under pressure, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be proficient in Open Table on the admin side and have knowledge of department-specific software and applications.Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement seating orders to maximize timing and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain effective communication between reservations, host team, hotel partners, kitchen, and dining room staff.
• Identify and recognize regular and VIP guests, and build brand loyalty.
• Review reservation names and ensure special occasions are acknowledged and allergies are flagged.
• Provide exceptional guest service, including eye contact, respectful conversation, and smiling.
• Assist in various duties as needed and maintain a professional appearance.
• Exude and instill exemplary hospitality standards.Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining, fast-paced restaurant environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Open Table on the admin side and department-specific software and applications.
  • Able to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Able to stand and/or walk for long periods without sitting.Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 per year, depending on experience.Benefits
