• Certification Details
• BLS - Basic Life Support required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required
• State License 1 Verification required
• NURSYS Verification required
• Fit Mask required
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required
  • Job Details
  • Shift: 3x12's, 7p-7a
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • 2 years of experience required within a large academic center
  • Trauma level I or II experience required
  • Experience with Peds, Triage, STEMI, and Stroke Experience required
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Patient Ratio: 1:6
  • Patient Mix/Skill requirements: 88 licensed beds (does not include hallway beds) ratio primarily 1:5 (plus one hallway bed).Types of patients include all ED patients, plus observation and admitted boarding patients within the ED.
  • Will not accept 1st time travelers
  • Scrub Color: Hunter Green (top and bottom)
  • Parking: monthly fee applicable
  • May float between Paterson and Wayne - will work within boarding and observation of ED

    • NJ or Compact license required at time of submission
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required
    • Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
    • No blocked scheduling
    • No Call

      • May float between Paterson and Wayne - will work within boarding and observation of ED
