TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Manahawkin, New Jersey, 08050 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled. Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent strong Med-Surg experience required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: NIHSS, BLS (AHA), CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours Must-Have: Telemetry experience Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessment based on the patient---s problems or needs, the physician---s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions. - Manage care of patients. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with a professional nursing practice model. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
