Which is why we foster a culture of inclusion and belonging where all perspectives, abilities and experiences are valued and our people can reach their potential.At Johnson & Johnson, we all belong.For the relevant Neuroscience asset(s) this Associate Director of Scientific Communications and Engagement will be responsible for the development Global Medical Affairs external scientific engagement activities through multiple channels, including key Congresses and digital education.This role will coordinate and communicate end to end plan for key congresses for Global Medical Affairs (and other regions if required), as well as coordinating and communicating multi-channel medical education plan in cross collaboration with the Regions and cross-functional partners. This role should enable more effective and consistent engagement with and education of external stakeholders.This role will work in close partnership with the asset(s) GMAL(s) and SEL(s).There will be frequent interactions with global and regional medical affairs and market access colleagues, JJIM R&D, global and regional marketing directors.Specifically, the Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Neuroscience Scientific Communications & Engagement, Neuroscience will:

  • Be the Global Medical Affairs Lead for the global scientific and strategic planning to support the end to end congress plan in partnership with regional leads
  • Be the Global Medical Affairs Lead for the global medical education planning in partnership with regional leads
  • Coordinate with global and regional commercial colleagues to execute pre-congresses meetings
  • Partner with GMAL and SEL to ensure consistent approach to high quality pre-congress trainings are provided
  • Provide onsite leadership and support at various congresses
  • Contribute to medical education content creation (for HCPs and/or Patient/PAG), which includes scientific booth, slide deck and scientific communication (directly or through vendor management) in collaboration with GMAL/SEL
  • Drive innovation and sharing of best practice across Neuroscience cross-region team
  • Cultivate positive relationships and effective collaboration with cross-functional and cross-region colleagues
  • Provide business plan input for medical education and congress activities
  • Coordinate internal congress and medical education planning related communications\rTasks/Duties/Responsibilities

    • Initiate strategic planning for key congresses across functions and regions ensuring objectives, key data dissemination plans, engagement plans are clearly communicated. Provide oversight and planning for global medical affairs congress activities, end to end communication support, and onsite leadership for key congresses
    • Provide input and coordination in partnership with GMALs/SELs for pre-congress content and training
    • Initiate strategic planning for multichannel medical education across functions and regions ensuring clear objectives and communication. Provide oversight and planning for global medical affairs
    • Contribute to medical education content creation in collaboration with GMAL/SEL\r\r
