If you want to be transported to the Italian Riviera and serve all seasonal, sophisticated, world-class Italian food, this is the spot for you.Job DescriptionThe Line Cook's primary responsibility is to cook in our kitchen, following our Executive Chef's specifications and guidelines ensuring total guest satisfaction. This is achieved by:

• Being able to read and follow recipes, follow directions and lists outlined by a chef
• Understanding and following the proper DOH food safety policies
• Being punctual and paying attention to detail
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with coworkers
• Working in a fast-paced and stressful environment without losing composure
• Having the ability to stand while working for long periods of time
• Performing other duties as directedRequirementsWe're looking for a dedicated hospitality professional with experience in a high-volume restaurant, preferably in Manhattan. You should have a strong understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines, and be able to maintain high-quality standards and clean work habits. Excellent verbal communication skills are a must, and you should be familiar with industry best practices, equipment, and procedures.
