The ideal candidate will report to the Global Software Development Lead and will be responsible for the development, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of the Mirion software products.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integrating new software features and products into the Gamma Spectroscopy System software portfolio.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing software issues for new and existing projects.
• Following the company's current software development processes.
• Actively maintaining software development skills by participating in company-sponsored training classes.
• Recommending improvements to the software development process to improve productivity within the organization.
• Participating in technical working groups that continue to improve organizational processes.
• Programming in C / C++, C#, Python, and various scripting languages.
• Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related specialized field.
  • 7-10 years of programming experience utilizing C / C++, C#, and Python.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting and programming languages (SQL, HTML, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in simple IP network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in systems integration, including all phases of the software/system development life cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft operating systems including installation and configuration.
  • Experience with engineering processes that include design and code reviews.
  • Experience with configuration management processes and tools (i.e., GIT, JIRA, etc.).
  • Experience working in a virtualized environment (i.e., VMWare).KEY SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

      • Ability to manage application installers using InstallShield or equivalent experience.
      • Ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft's Visual Studio software development tools and services for developing software.
