Job Description:

Someliers at COQODAQ provide wine list oversight, wine and beverage recommendations, and manage the customer experience. They ensure wines are served correctly and train service team members.

• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Recommends wines based on price, personal taste, and food selection.
• Oversees wine serving and storage, trains service team members.
• Serves wine in correct glassware and at proper temperature.
• Demonstrates friendly personality, strong wine knowledge, and great interpersonal skills.Administrative duties include inspecting orders and invoices, stocking and organizing wine inventory, updating wine lists, and assisting with inventory and cellar maintenance.
  • Display knowledge of COQODAQ brand, culture, and product.
  • Maintain professional and respectful behavior when in contact with customers, management, and teammates.
  • Present a polished personal appearance, adhering to company grooming standards.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and training sessions.Required qualifications include being reachable by email, communicating effectively, and possessing a positive, results-oriented team-player mentality.
    • Must have the ability to read and understand written directions and verbal instructions in English.
    • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and local Department of Health standards.
    • Food Handler's Certification or the ability to obtain within six months.
