Job Description:
A company is looking for a Chief Estimator to develop and manage
estimating activities for large and complex construction
projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide management and guidance to the estimating team, ensuring
quality and compliance with company standards
Oversee the preparation and delivery of all estimating
deliverables, verifying the reasonableness of estimated costs
Review contract documents and ensure appropriate risk and
contingencies are applied in estimates
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a
related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 12 years of related work experience in the construction
industry
Familiarity with project controls software such as HCSS Heavy Bid
and Primavera scheduling software
Clear understanding of construction contract documents, drawings,
and specifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role is
preferred
