Join us!The Preferred Analytics team in Merrill Edge's Business Enablement organization provides crucial analysis to enable effective management of the sales call center and a network of field offices. This team supports many of the strategic decisions from helping to build business cases to executing new strategies.A Senior Data Analyst is needed to join the data analytics team. This position will be focused on quantifying the client-associate experience for Consumer Investments (CI) and developing cost-saving initiatives that will positively impact pre-tax profit margins. The candidate must have a strong command of technical systems as well as the business-side of an online trading platform and investment advisory service. The candidate will be leading the transition of data analytics to a big data platform and will be working with billions - not millions - of records.Responsibilities will include the efficient integration of data from the following platforms for analytical needs and formulating strategies to use this data to enhance business strategies:

  • OBI Call data
  • Interactive voice response (IVR) data
  • CMC / Salesforce data
  • Nexidia call transcript data
  • Nexidia chat transcript dataRequired Qualifications:
    • Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Certified Solutions Architect Associate
    • Advanced SQL programing experience
    • Experience efficiently querying large data sets using HIVE and Impala
    • Familiarity with investor and corporate financial models
    • Deep understanding of the day-to-day functions of the business-side of CI and its impact on the client
    • Team-orientated, willingness to train others, and assist on ad-hoc projects across the CI organization
    • Experience working side-by-side with sales individuals on a trading floor and banking centers in a fast-paced environmentDesired Qualifications:
