Job Description:
A company is looking for a Tumor Registry Follow-up HIM Tech II
for a remote, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the integrity of electronic medical records through analysis
and review
Collect follow-up data on all cases of malignant disease and update
cancer registry data
Respond to requests for medical information and coordinate the
completion of patient medical records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate's degree
Certified or eligible to sit for the national exam for Registered
Health Information Technology (RHIT)
Certification must be obtained within six months from the date of
hire if RHIT eligible
5 years of experience working in Health Information Management
(HIM)
